About

Experienced professional based in Swansea, South Wales. I’ve been fortunate enough to work across numerous business sectors to date, including: Medical,  Banking & Finance,  TV/Interactive,  Public Health/NHS  and the Property Market.

I’m from a strong development background with excellent management, technical and problem solving capabilities. Coupled with extensive client facing skills, my focus is now management of Programmes, Projects and Teams.  I believe I have the unique ability to cross the technical and non-technical divide, but keep a clear picture of what is needed to deliver a solution.

I’m an agile practitioner and have worked in this environment for over eight years with SCRUM. I have experience of all facets of the methodology, from senior developer, to SCRUM Master through to Product Owner.

I’m a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), hold an ISEB Diploma in System Modelling Techniques and graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Wales, Swansea.

Due to owning a very active Cocker Spaniel called Bryn, by default, this makes me an active person. I live with my partner Debbie and we are fortunate to live close to the Gower Peninsula, which became the first area in the UK to be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. I enjoy walking, photography, cooking, cycling and  rugby.

I’m always open to new challenges including consultancy, board opportunities and charity work. Please get in touch if you feel you could benefit from my expertise or skills.

Did You Know?…

Back in 2003, I helped The Ospreys regional rugby team during the formation of the four professional regions in Wales. I successfully launched their online presence to critical acclaim.

Leading on from this success, I was approached to help The Liberty Stadium gain a foothold on the web in 2005. I also went on to provide further consultancy to Swansea, Neath and Ebbw Vale Rugby Clubs.

I’m an ex-Welsh Chess Champion and have represented my country against the other international teams.
